Sunday Night time

So on Sunday  night, I walked out for dinner passing along the same route I have traversed several times and two things stood out this time, which I had not seen before. First of all this door. I just love it’s weathered appearance and flakey paint. From what I can see the building it opens into is a ruin.

Next along my route to the town, I pass this eclectic looking shop. I only looked at things on its frontage at eye level before, seafaring stuff, an  anchor etc. but then I looked up and there is a diver swimming, high up. I waited for a gap in the traffic and took a quick photo. Looking at my photo, it’s a diving shop!

Further along was my restaurant, an Italian and I had a lovely pizza. I also got given a courtesy sample dessert, much nicer than the  Tsipouro you get on Sifnos! I then had a wander further into the town and bought myself a pistachio ice cream not far from Miaouli Square. One of the buildings on the square was lit up and looked really nice I thought.

I then walked to the theatre, which was closed earlier, I was hoping it would be open for a production and Then I could see if it was to be open during a day soon. It was and I can go in and have a look tomorrow. I then wandered back home along the harbour edge and saw more young people dressed up in all sorts of fancy dress, it is a day off on Monday, maybe that has something to do with their attire. Last photo, a statue which I think looks better in the dark.
