Blue is the colour

One of the guys who I know from the Coffee Shop on Serifos had texted me and asked how I was doing. So yesterday morning, I sent him a message back and we had a short conversation. I also had to send a message back to my friend who is coming over Friday. I then had another conversation with a daughter of a friend from Twyford, so I had a busy start to the morning. We had a takeout from the Italian last night, I had a salad, after all those chocolates I wanted something light! Today my two Sifnos friends picked up their new car, which is a very nice blue, like the windows and doors on the island. I will be in it Friday.

I looked at the Midsomer murder book, you read the first chapter, then you have choices on how the story proceeds. My first attempt, ended up with me being killed off by a flying Yucca plant. The verdict on my attempt, which you get at the end of the book is I could do better. I will have another go soon with different selections.

Today’s church is Agia Anna which is in the village of Panagia. The village is quite sleepy, a lady runs  in her living room a coffee shop and shop. I have been in with a friend. There is not much other information about the church unfortunately.

I have moved the vertical fan so it can get the air it expels on my head, instead of above it.

A friend has given me access to their audible account and I am listening to Act of oblivion by Richard Harris I know several of his books, most of them are very good. I did my usual selection of other things, continuing my review of the Introduction to Greek course. I am not bad, I haven’t remembered some of the words that change after I can/I will. These are words like eat, see etc. I know the originals but not the ones to be used after the say I can/I will etc.  I am nearly at the end of the review section. Later on our friend from Chrisopigi with a relative who I think is an orthopaedic surgeon. They might be able to offer so e advice, but I don’t want to hassle them too much!
